Job Details Job Location: McCall, ID 83638 Position Type: Winter Seasonal Job Category: Mountain Sports & Activities Job Summary: Brundage Mountain Resort is seeking PSIA/AASI certified Ski and Snowboard Instructors for the 2025/26 winter season. Instructors will deliver high-quality, student-centered instruction to individuals and groups of all ages and abilities. This role emphasizes safety, fun, and learning while fostering a lifelong passion for snowsports. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective instruction aligned with PSIA/AASI standards. Teach students of all ages and skill levels in both private and group settings. Apply the Teaching/Learning Cycle to tailor lessons to individual student goals and learning styles. Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and respect in all guest interactions. Assist guests with chairlift loading and unloading. Support Mountain Sports School operations, including guest registration, equipment guidance, and maintaining teaching areas. Promote safety and awareness of resort policies and alpine safety rules. Provide feedback and track student progress to enhance learning outcomes. Qualifications Job Qualifications: Current PSIA/AASI Level I, II, or III certification required. Children’s Specialist I or II certification preferred. Strong understanding of skiing/snowboarding fundamentals and teaching methodology. Ability to ski or ride confidently on varied terrain and in diverse conditions. Passion for teaching and working with guests of all ages and backgrounds. Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education. Other Requirements: Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Able to stand, squat, ski or snowboard for extended periods. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
