BizTech College is looking for an experienced ‘Part-Time Instructor in Cloud Computing Technology’ for Evening shift (5:00 PM to 10:00 PM) to join our team at the campus in Mississauga, Ontario. This strong personality will be responsible for planning, organizing, and teaching in a manner that associates with the values of BizTech College. The suitable person will be using a range of teaching strategies to meet and support the learning needs of our students along with incorporating a variety of creative tools and useful practices to maximize student involvement.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University Degree is preferred in Computer Science Technology.
  • Must have a minimum of 3-4 years of working experience in Cloud Computing.
  • Must have 2+ years of teaching experience.
  • Must be available for Evening shifts (5:00 PM to 10:00 PM )
  • Must have strong knowledge in –
  • AWS Cloud Applications Development, AWS DevOps, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer OR
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions (Azure Fundamentals or Azure AI Fundamentals or Azure Data Fundamentals , or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Fundamentals. In addition, candidates with certification of Azure Solutions Architect or Azure DevOps Engineer, will be preferred first.
  • Python Programming language, JavaScript, The Linux Certified Administrator will be asset,
  • Should be familiar with Private Career Colleges and the Private Career Colleges Act (asset).
  • Strong communications skills (Written and Oral).

    Pay: $30.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for teaching cloud engineering concepts, tools, and best practices to students according to approved curriculum.
  • Conduct classes both in-person and virtual with a focus on the specific lesson plan and make the learning experience fun
  • Assist students with understanding cloud concepts, troubleshooting issues, and completing lab assignments.
  • Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, and exams. Provide timely feedback and grades.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate relevant changes into the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve course materials.
  • Participate in a team approach and atmosphere we strive for at the college amongst students and faculty.
  • Set up a systematic plan to teach the students that includes lectures, presentations, group discussions, interactive activities, independent and group projects.
  • Utilize instruction techniques/methods that identify and consider requirements and learning capacities of students and change when required in response to students of needs.
  • Maintain fair and consistent discipline with the students.
  • Monitor student progress regularly and adjust courses accordingly.
