Core4ce is seeking a highly skilled Course Developer to join our team at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The ideal candidate will combine instructional expertise with operational knowledge in public health, delivering high-quality education while contributing to curriculum development and technical consulting.

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s degree in public health
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a public health-related field
  • Preferred: Prior U.S. Air Force military experience
  • Must complete the Basic Instructor Course (BIC) by USAFSAM/ED within 1 year (if not already certified)
  • Must have a signed company Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) on file with the Program Manager

Responsibilities

Curriculum Development

  • Assist in creating curriculum for Public Health Education Division
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Public Health Education training
  • Design lesson plans using Instructional System Design (ISD) methodology

Instruction and Training Delivery

  • Deliver classroom and platform instruction in:
  • Public Health Apprentice Course
  • Contingency Preventative Medicine
  • Operational Entomology
  • Hearing Conservation Certification & Recertification
  • Community Health Workshop
  • Force Health Management Workshop
  • Occupational Medicine Workshop
  • Follow Air Force-approved instructional methodologies (including attention, motivation, and interim summaries)
  • No more than 1 missed teaching step per (4) hours of instruction.
  • Adjust instruction based on student needs
  • Meet the following Instructional Standards:
  • Achieve “acceptable” rating in USAFSAM/ED lesson evaluations
  • Achieve “acceptable” rating in annual instructor evaluations
  • Implement corrective actions based on student feedback analysis
  • Meet documentation accuracy standards

Operational Consulting

  • Provide consultation and expert advice on:
  • Force Health Management programs
  • Community Health programs
  • Support operational issues relating to Air Force Public Health programs

Technical Proficiency

  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in:
  • Outbreak investigation tools
  • Mosquito traps and vector control devices
  • Food inspection equipment
  • Utilize health surveillance systems and health-related databases effectively
