Responsibilities

As an Instructor Demonstrator Assessor in Barbering, you will:

  • Provide support to lecturing staff in the delivery of competence-based skills in accordance with standards set by external bodies.
  • Facilitate training, demonstrations, assessments, and support for students participating in competence-based or skills-based learning programmes.
  • Assist individual students or trainees in developing personalised learning plans to achieve their goals and meet externally defined standards.
  • Ensure the maintenance of learning resources and equipment utilised in the learning programme, reporting any faults or necessary repairs to the appropriate technician or manager.
  • Collaborate with teaching and administrative staff to support the student application and enrolment processes.
  • Offer guidance to students engaged in learning programmes, including conducting one-to-one tutorials.
