Join a student-centered teaching team dedicated to preparing learners for career in technology and information systems. We are seeking an Instructor of Information Systems to bring foundational computer skills to like through dynamic instruction in areas such as networking, cloud computing, operating systems, project management, and emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI).
This full-time faculty position plays a key role in delivering high-quality, career-focused education through a variety of teaching methods and formats, including in-person, hybrid, and online courses.

SKILLS THAT MAKE YOU A STRONG FIT:

• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning styles and delivery formats.
• Familiarity with Blackboard or similar learning management systems is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Knowledge of adult education principles is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages including R, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java, C++, and Python is a plus.

• Teach and assess Information Systems courses with a focus on real-world application and industry relevance.
• Design and deliver engaging, accessible content using tools like Moodle or Blackboard.

• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Participate in curriculum development, college committees, student recruitment, and professional development.
