Job Details Level: Entry Job Location: Littleton YMCA - Littleton, CO 80120 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $19.29 - $19.29 Hourly Job Shift: Any SCHEDULE: Need instructor for classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays between 4:00pm-7:00pm, and Saturdays between 10:00am -3:00pm. Ages of participants are between 3-12 years old. POSITION SUMMARY Instructor, NinjaZone working as part of the YMCA Experience team, will deliver world-class customer service and relationship building skills to create a welcoming environment at the YMCA. The individual will provide a high level of interaction with all participants in center programs and deliver a high level of quality within all programs administered. The incumbent will also exhibit the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in all aspects of their work with the YMCA. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Instruct and lead Ninja Zone classes in accordance with the program curriculum. Provide quality classes that follow required format and are at the proper intensity level. Demonstrate a genuine interest in improving the health & wellness of participants. Monitor class for signs of stress. Prepare and know instructional materials. Arrive early and stay after class to set-up/clean-up class space. Keep accurate attendance records & administer program evaluations. Respect the individual goals, needs & perspectives of each participant. Must possess CPR/AED/O2/FA certifications prior to hire and maintain certifications during employment. Must be Ninja Zone-certified prior to start date. Regularly attend program trainings & meetings. Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
