Caldwell University invites applications for a full-time faculty opening in the School of Nursing and Health Services, beginning in January 2025. Rank will be commensurate with degree and experience. The opening will be filled at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level. Job duties include, but are not limited to,teaching undergraduate nursing courses and other courses across the curriculum as assigned, providing service, participating in committee work and faculty meetings, advising students, holding office hours as required, preparing clinical assignments and supervising clinical groups as well as engaging in scholarly activities, community service and college wide programs and activities. To be considered for the Assistant Professor rank, the candidate shall have a doctorate in Nursing or a related field. To be considered for the Instructor rank, the candidate must have a Masters’ degree in Nursing or related field. Current NJ RN licensure is also required. A doctorate in nursing or a related field is preferred. Prior teaching experience in a BSN program is preferred. We are interested in applicants with experience in all specialty areas particularly in adult health, maternal child, pediatrics or psychiatric mental health nursing. Experience in online instruction and simulation teaching is desired.
