Key ResponsibilitiesProfessionalism Models commitment to CPA’s mission, vision, and core values. Maintains professionalism in all communication and relationships. Participates actively in PLCs and school activities. Contributes to school life (coaching, mentoring, discipleship, clubs, etc.). Engages in continuous professional growth. Planning & Instructional Design Designs instruction with clear learning goals and aligned assessments. Creates meaningful, differentiated learning experiences. Maintains updated unit plans; collaborates with Learning Services. Organizes classroom environment to support learning. Follows school systems and procedures Classroom Management & Teaching Practice Integrates a biblically faithful Christian worldview. Uses engaging instructional strategies and appropriate technology. Establishes and upholds consistent behavioral expectations. Builds positive relationships and a supportive classroom climate. Maximizes learning time with clear instruction and smooth transitions. Implements schoolwide behavioral systems consistently. Uses data to guide instruction and provide support. Assessment, Feedback & Student Support Communicates clear criteria for proficiency and gives timely feedback. Uses varied assessments to monitor learning progress. Analyzes data to inform instruction and intervention. Partners with Learning Services and provides targeted student support. Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred. Teaching experience strongly valued. Willingness to share Christian testimony and disciple students. Skills & Competencies Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Effective time management and multitasking. Proficiency with required CPA technology platforms. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the day. Ability to respond quickly in emergencies; lift up to 20 lbs. Frequent ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
