Besides the outpatient clinics, the inpatient set-up consists of a paediatric ward with two units comprising of 84 beds, a state of art Neonatal Intensive care unit with latest equipment and protocols in place and a capacity of 24 high acuity beds with one is to one staffing along with 10 bedded level 2 care monitored cots. The Neonatal section offers a 2 year Neonatal fellowship training and is one the oldest and established fellowship program with 6 fellows. In addition to care for sick babies, the section also provides services along with Pediatric consultants to the Well baby in the post-natal wards. Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Senior Instructor in the Department of Paediatrics – Off Campus Hospital Karimabad. Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: provide supervision in the inpatient and outpatient services along with senior faculty members perform daily team rounds, formulate cure plan and expedite discharges on a daily basis in consultation with senior faculty members and fellows develop and practice a system that is quality-based and has an academic and service model embedded in it teach and train undergraduates and postgraduates according to the defined standards and curriculum formulate quality initiatives for the units and present them at various platforms under the guidance of faculty members contribute to patient complaint reviews and case review system / root cause analysis participate in the General Paediatrics and other departmental and organizational performance improvement activities. Requirements: You should have: an MBBS degree with a valid license from Pakistan Medical Commission completed structured postgraduate training in Paediatrics from a reputable institution FCPS or MRCP in Paediatrics excellent interpersonal, teaching and training skills excellent procedural skills and an ability to provide quality and safe patient care in a diverse setting ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently willingness to work in shift duties. Responsibilities

The role involves supervising inpatient and outpatient paediatric services and conducting daily team rounds to formulate cure plans. Additionally, the instructor is responsible for teaching undergraduates and postgraduates while implementing quality initiatives and performance improvement activities.
