EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Graduation from an approved Pharmacy or pharmacy technician program is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacist.
  • Experience and proficiency in both administrative and clinical duties relevant to the field of instruction required.
  • Active, unrestricted industry certification/licensure, if required to work in the field is required.

Responsibilities
  • Delivers Engaging Instruction: Utilizes innovative teaching methods, technology, and hands-on learning to engage students, accommodate diverse learning styles, and deepen understanding through lectures, demonstrations, and lab sessions.
  • Designs Curriculum and Assessment Tools: Develops instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with program goals, industry standards, and evolving healthcare practices.
  • Supports Student Development: Fosters a collaborative, inclusive classroom environment; offers academic support, mentorship, and career guidance; and assesses performance through exams, projects, and clinical evaluations.
  • Manages Clinical and Lab Experiences: Coordinates clinical placements and lab activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, student skill development, and strong relationships with clinical partners.
  • Engages in Professional Collaboration and Growth: Collaborates with faculty and healthcare professionals to improve program quality; participates in continuing education; stays current on industry trends; and maintains accurate academic and administrative records.
