Description

Great Gains Therapy is looking for motivated instructor therapists to provide community and home based service under the supervision of a Registered Behaviour Analyst/Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). EVENING AND WEEKEND WORK WILL BE REQUIRED!

Responsibilities:

  • Providing ABA therapy in a 1:1 and small group format or in the home or community based on the behaviour plan created by the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Assess skills according to various skill assessments (ABLLS-R, AFLS, VBMAPP, etc.)
  • Creating program materials/stimuli
  • Collecting data throughout session
  • sharing progress or barriers with the Clinical Supervisor as needed.
  • Implement treatment goals and interventions with integrity
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-year Community College Diploma or Certificate, Degree in behaviour science technology, psychology or equivalent preferred
  • 6 months of related experience
  • Knowledge of applied behaviour analysis, autism spectrum disorder and child development
  • Previous experience providing intensive behavioural intervention is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • The successful candidate must provide an acceptable Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening)
  • Personal liability insurance is required
  • This position is an independent contractor position that requires travel
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $29.00-$36.93 per hour
