Job Summary: Performs the function of teaching with renewable contracts. Not eligible for tenure. Job Description: Persons with the rank of instructor shall be hired for teaching duties but shall not be tenure track. The contracts will be renewable at the discretion of the University. Job Responsibilities: Teaching human anatomy and physiology courses for non-majors, and demonstrate a commitment to pedagogical innovation and inclusivity in the classroom. Applicants must have either a Ph.D. (preferred, for Instructional Assistant Professor) or an M.S. degree (for Instructor) in Biology or a related field, experience teaching human anatomy and physiology courses for non-majors, and demonstrate a commitment to pedagogical innovation and inclusivity in the classroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for instruction of non-majors courses in human anatomy and physiology and human biology. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in department recruitment events and provide departmental faculty service.
