The Allied Health Instructor is directly responsible and accountable for ensuring the fulfillment of educational goals and objectives of the Allied Health Program and ensuring program compliance with ABHES and TWC. These responsibilities require leadership in both academic and workforce areas, including meeting student retention goals, participating in educational planning, evaluating student performance, motivating and advising students, and generating program reports as needed.

Job Description: Valley Grande Institute is seeking a qualified instructor to teach and mentor students in our Patient Care Technician Program in Phlebotomy and EKG. The instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and fostering a positive learning environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Phlebotomy Certification.
  • Valid EKG Certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of Texas Workforce Commission Career Schools and Colleges and ABHES requirements.
