About the Role Yoga Instructors at Bouldering Project lead intentional, inclusive, and inspiring classes that support the mind-body connection through breath and movement. Instructors are responsible for developing thoughtful sequences that align with BP's yoga class formats, while cultivating a positive and welcoming studio environment for all participants. This role requires professionalism, safety awareness, and a community-focused attitude. What You'll Do Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Design and teach creative, well-sequenced classes that align with BP's offerings (e.g., Power Flow, Slow Flow, Restore, Sculpt, Vinyasa) Clearly cue safe and dynamic asana postures, breathwork, and transitions, offering modifications for a variety of levels Welcome all participants, including new students, and foster a community-centered class environment Offer hands-on assists when appropriate and only with consent Maintain professionalism by arriving early, starting and ending class on time, and upholding studio standards Maintain studio cleanliness and proper care of yoga props and equipment Coordinate sub coverage when unable to teach and support fellow instructors by subbing as needed Respond to emergencies according to safety protocols and report incidents appropriately Participate in staff meetings and continuing education sessions Accurately check students into class and maintain class headcounts Other duties as assigned Requirements What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications YT 200 (Yoga Alliance) or equivalent training and experience Current CPR/AED certification and basic first aid training Minimum 1+ year experience teaching yoga classes Strong communication and class management skills Ability to serve a wide range of fitness levels and abilities Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of yoga instruction experience RYT 500 or E-RYT 200 designation Experience teaching Hot Power Flow, Yoga Sculpt, or Restore Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Exercise Science, Wellness) We know not everyone will meet 100% of the qualifications—if this role excites you, we encourage you to apply.
