Description

We are assisting with recruitment for a highly experienced Instrument Engineering Contractor on-site at a client facility.
This role is critical to the integration of complex instrumentation systems with DCS, PLCs, and other control platforms. You’ll be the key technical resource ensuring reliable, safe, and maintainable control systems through expert signal path design and coordination.

Duties will include:

  • Act as the on-site IE specialist resource, interfacing with client teams, EPCs
  • Develop deep knowledge of site configurations and practices.
  • Support site testing, cutover, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and General Engineering Contractors (GECs) to define scope and confirm control plan functionality.
  • Coordinate procurement of instrumentation equipment within IE scope.
  • Review and produce engineering drawings and documentation for rack room components.
  • Provide technical options and lead case selections to support project decisions.
