Description
We are Looking for: Instrument Engineer: Initiate/conduct special studies for improving refinery and petrochemical facilities or operations and provide specialized technical/consulting service in engineering fields, in accordance with procedures and in compliance with quality standards, to optimize operations. Duties & Responsibilities: 1.TECHNICAL SUPPORT. Prepare designs, processes and related data for engineering problems to ensure that work is completed as per deadline, engineering standards and PRC procedures. 2.ENGINEERING STUDIES. Perform studies and analysis with regards to engineering problems related to economic value, long range planning and budgetary considerations and formulate reports. 3.ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS. Prepare, review or consolidate root cause analysis or investigation reports or engineering studies in order to support management decision-making and plant trouble shooting. 4.COACHING SERVICES. Provide coaching to lower levels engineers and supervise their work. 5.PROCESS IMPROVEMENT. Recommend modifications in order to improve existing facilities and standardization, enhance safety and operability's etc. 6.GENERAL TASK. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Sr. Specialist Engineer - Instrumentation and Control. 7.PM OPTIMIZATION /CONTROL. Perform PM optimization and control duties as designated by the Sr. Specialist Engineer -Instrumentation and Control. Minimum Requirements: 1. BS or Engineering degree in Electronics/Communication/Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering. with Note less than (Min) 3 years of experience in the relevant Field" and Industry. 2. Certifications such as Professional Engineer is desirable. 3. Relevant work experienced required in oil & petrochemical industry. 4. Thorough knowledge of engineering practices, calculation methods, and design details. 5. Working knowledge of economic principles, engineering codes, standards, and specifications. 6. Performing Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Studies, HAZOP, SIL Assessment & Validation. 7. Performing PM Optimization. 8. Initiative 9. Communicating with impact 10. Achievement orientation
Responsibilities
The Instrument Engineer will conduct special studies to improve refinery and petrochemical operations while providing specialized technical support. Responsibilities include preparing designs, performing engineering studies, and recommending modifications for process improvement.
