Description
Overview Fit and assemble instrument parts, check instruments for accuracy and calibrating to specifications. This role involves precise work with various types of tubing and instrumentation, ensuring all installations meet engineering standards and safety protocols. Shift(s): Day Shift Available What You'll Do * Run pneumatic tubing and complete the layout of tubing on skids * Connect tubing to end devices and ensure proper alignment * Bend tubing ranging from 1/4" to 1/2" thick accurately * Fabricate bracket braces and instrument racks as needed * Read and interpret blueprints, P&ID drawings, and general assembly layouts * Perform inspections and calibrate instruments to specifications * Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols * Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles * Participate in safety training sessions and report safety concerns to supervisors * Perform other duties as assigned What You'll Need * High school diploma or GED * 4+ years of experience as an instrument fitter, including stainless steel bending * Strong English and Spanish communication skills, written and verbal * Basic understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems * Ability to read blueprints and P&ID drawings * Knowledge of different types of tubing, end devices, and system flow * Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving skills What We Offer * Competitive pay * Paid Time Off (for eligible full-time employees) * Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance options * 401(k) Retirement Plan * Career growth opportunities * Safe, supportive, and team-oriented work environment What It's Like Apache Workforce is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork. You’ll be part of a team that ensures all installations meet engineering standards and safety protocols. Physical & Work Environment Requirements: * Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly * Work performed in a shop environment. Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment. * Stand, bend, stoop, and reach frequently throughout the shift * Work up to 10 hours/day, 6 days/week * Use of PPE required (safety glasses, ear protection as needed) * Steel-toe boots required in Manufacturing Facility * Work in varying noise levels and shop conditions Apache Workforce is an equal opportunity employer.
