Description
Supports the delivery of patient care by performing activities related to the processing and sterilization of instruments, equipment, and supplies for the department. Maintains appropriate inventory and performs various support duties within the OR. Certification required for those hired after December 29, 2020. Sterile Processing Certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire or transfer. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Experience 1 year experience in a CSR role Preferred Licenses Cert Reg Central Service Tech Required or Cert SPD Technician Required
Responsibilities
This role supports patient care by executing tasks related to the processing and sterilization of instruments, equipment, and supplies for the department. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels and performing various support duties within the Operating Room (OR).
