This is an Hourly position. **1.75 2nd shift differential** Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The instrument technician will be responsible for detailed knowledge of the inter-departmental needs. They will coordinate/communicate daily instrument needs with mission partners and team leaders. Must be competent in proper cleaning, sterilizing and inspecting of instrumentation. Must be proficient and responsible for all aspects of the Immediate Use Sterilization process, as well and handling Biologic Indicator testing as needed. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 2 years sterile processing experience OR Certification in sterile processing at the technician level or higher from an accredited organization Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
