Job Summary:
Responsible and accountable for all duties related to the preparation of trays and equipment, processing of general and specialty surgical instruments. This includes cleaning, decontamination, inspection, assembly, wrapping and sterilization, quality control testing and monitoring of sterilization equipment and maintaining records. May perform assigned duties such as cleaning, stocking, transporting, and dispensing supplies and equipment, and assisting with orientation of new staff members.
Required Qualifications:
- Require one (1) year of sterile processing experience or current/active certification of one of the following certifications: - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks.
• Prefer demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Prefer demonstrated proficiency using a computerized instrument tracking & monitoring system.
