ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sterilisation Department (CSSD) at Western Health has casual positions available for experienced Instrument Technicians to join our Bank.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the Sterilisation Department and hold a Certificate 3 in Sterilisation.
Successful applicants should be flexible in their days and hours of availability, with a minimum of 3 week days of availability. You will be required to work at all Western Health Campuses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilising of reusable medical devices in accordance with national standards and hospital policies
• Understand and apply the principles of sterilisation, disinfection and tracking in the CSSD environment
• Navigate the tracking system (Scancare) to support daily work requirements
