Roscommon Traditional Music School is home to a vibrant community of over 15 teachers, offering lessons in a wide range of instruments and styles. We provide a welcoming environment for students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to more experienced players.

REQUIREMENTS

• Age 21+
• Full driving licence
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Passion for teaching and inspiring students
• Previous teaching experience is an advantage but not essential

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and reliable Guitar Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver one-to-one guitar lessons and have the opportunity to lead and develop a group guitar class. Students may wish to learn traditional music, rock, or general fundamentals, and lessons are tailored to their individual goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide one-to-one guitar tuition for children and adults.
• Deliver lessons across various styles (traditional, rock, fundamentals, etc.).
• Support students’ progression and encourage participation in performances.
• Develop and run a group guitar class (optional).
• Collaborate with fellow teachers as part of a supportive school community.
