JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Controls and Instrumentation Engineer for an established manufacturer in the Syracuse, NY area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining instrumentation systems that enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with industry standards. Duties and Responsibilities:

• PLC Programming using AB, machine HMIs, SCADA systems, ControlLogix, Motor/Servo drives and Process Instrumentation.
• VFD equipment, RS Logix/FactoryTalk or similar software
• Proficiency in AC/DC wiring, relays and sensors, and electromechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with HVAC, industrial refrigeration, boilers, 3-phase electrical service and other industrial utilities a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and ability to interpret company documents and UPS Code information.

Education and Experience:

• BS in Engineering or related degree preferred, however an equivalent amount of experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
• Experience with Controls, Instrumentation, Automation, PLC programming etc.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
