INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROLS (I&C) TECHNICIAN Experienced I&C Tech needed with experience bending and running conduit at Industrial Facilities Location: Florida (Statewide travel required; initial project will be in Naples, FL) 40 hours per week in Naples, FL ABOUT US We are a growing EPC contractor specializing in the construction and upgrade of critical infrastructure, including electrical substations, water/wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and industrial plants. Our team delivers high-quality, safety-focused solutions for major utility and industrial clients across the state of Florida. ---------------------------------------- POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a motivated Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems across a variety of industrial and utility projects. This role is ideal for an Instrumentation and Controls (electrical) technician who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within the I&C field. You will work under the direction of a Project Leader while contributing directly to field execution. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Install, terminate, and test instrumentation and control wiring, panels, and devices * Bending and running conduit throughout the plant - industrial setting * Assist with calibration and commissioning of instruments (flow, level, pressure, temperature, etc.) * Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and schematics * Operate and troubleshoot VFD's and PLC's * Troubleshoot control systems, including PLC-based systems and associated components * Support startup and commissioning activities at project sites * Perform routine maintenance and inspections on I&C equipment * Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards * Accurately document work performed, including redlines and field reports * Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment ---------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS * 1–5+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls and electrical * Experience bending and running conduit in various sizes (and out of various materials) * Basic understanding of industrial control systems and instrumentation and the national electrical code * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics (electrical and mechanical) * Experience with installation and termination of low-voltage and control wiring * Familiarity with PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) is a plus * Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Willingness to travel throughout Florida and work in outdoor/industrial environments * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation ---------------------------------------- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE  * Experience in water/wastewater, utilities, substations, or industrial facilities * Knowledge of SCADA systems * Instrument calibration experience * OSHA 10 or 30 certification * Experience with medium voltage switchgear ---------------------------------------- WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Field-based role requiring travel to project sites across Florida (however, initial project will be in Naples, FL) * Work may be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions * Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in industrial environments * Full-time job located in Naples, FL ---------------------------------------- WHAT WE OFFER * Competitive compensation based on experience * Opportunities for career growth into Lead or Specialist roles * Per diem/travel accommodations (when applicable) * Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, etc.) * 401(k) with company match * Ongoing training and development ---------------------------------------- WHY JOIN US?
