Description
Overview Element has an opportunity for an Instrumentation Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. In this role, you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision. This role is based in Singapore. Responsibilities Provide technical and engineering leadership, and supports the development of new technologies within a local laboratory Be accountable for accurate and timely release of testing data to customers including sign-offs of quality control data as acceptable Be expected to obtain guidance in non-routine situation testing movement, vibration, real time reading Have the ability to oversee standard and/or routine technical problem solving activities Interact with customers on technical issues and questions Provide Input and support on business development opportunities with new or existing customers Be confident in making both formal and informal presentations on conventional and/or routine testing to a wide range of stakeholders Assist in the professional development of novice technicians and engineers within the local laboratory Carry out crucial examination and implementation of testing concepts and data Utilize an assortment of skill, methods, procedures and materials in advanced testing analysis Be adept at drawing on internal knowledge as well as industry and/or academic resources in reaching testing conclusion Skills / Qualifications Possess a Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Geotechnical Engineering with at least 3 years of working experience Working knowledge of site safety Possess a high level of expertise related to scope, core theories, concepts, terminologies and boundaries of chosen engineering discipline - Water, ground and environment Possesses a demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge within the context of Element’s business In-depth understanding of testing concepts Can analyze and compiles testing data from the tests performed Possess strong computer skills #LI-CL1 #LI-PN1 #LI-CL1 Diversity Statement At Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
