PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Complete the full scope of the Company’s services.
  • Plan for works prior to site to ensure all stakeholders are aware of the works, and the correct tools and equipment are in hand.
  • Prepare method statements.
  • Continuously assess the area for the health and safety risks, reporting back to the H&S executive about any risks, or changes to the site conditions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise on-site.
  • Ensure all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Prepare detailed activity records from site, including site dairy and timesheets.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of instrumentation and civil engineering.
  • 2 years minimum experience in a Field Engineer role.
  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Geotechnical or other similar experience to be considered a specialist.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Driving license desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering structural monitoring and instrumentation projects across the GCC. This is a site-based role where you’ll be involved in planning and executing instrumentation works, installing a range of sensor types, and interpreting data to ensure accurate monitoring.
You’ll work closely with clients to ensure all activities meet project requirements, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment for yourself and your colleagues. The role requires someone who is confident working outdoors in the GCC climate and who brings a proactive, safety-first mindset to every task.
