Description
Job Title: Insulator Job Summary The Insulator is responsible for installing, maintaining, insulation materials on modular homes, pipes, ductwork, and equipment to control temperature, prevent moisture damage, reduce energy loss, and improve safety. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install insulation materials such as mineral wool Insulate modular homes walls Apply vapor barriers, sealants, and protective coverings Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders Secure insulation with bands, wires, adhesives, or fasteners Ensure proper thickness and fit according to job specifications Follow OSHA and job-site safety regulations at all times Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions Required Skills & Qualifications Previous experience as an insulator or in construction/mechanical trades (preferred) Knowledge of different insulation materials and installation techniques Ability to use hand and power tools safely Strong attention to detail and workmanship Physical ability to lift heavy materials Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Work Environment Construction sites, industrial facilities, or commercial buildings Exposure to dust, fibers, and construction materials (PPE required) Physical Requirements Standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting for extended periods Lifting up to 50 lbs or more You may contact us at Labor Finders (Douglas) 1214 North Peterson Ave. Douglas, GA 31533.
