JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs tasks associated with processing insurance, billing, collection, coding, and bookkeeping.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school education and postsecondary education in coding, medical terminology, and business office procedures preferred.
Experience in one or more areas of filing insurance, CPT/ICD-9 coding, credit and collections in a medical office preferred. Computer/keyboarding skills, knowledge of insurance/billing process, medical terminology, excellent customer service skills, calculation skills, and coding skills preferred.
