Position Overview The Member Experience Insurance Specialist plays a key role in creating a seamless experience for our members by integrating financial and insurance services within the branch environment. This hybrid role involves assisting members with credit union products, providing real-time insurance quotes, and supporting DMV service operations as needed. What You’ll Do Deliver outstanding member service while identifying financial needs and recommending solutions. Open new accounts, process loans, and handle financial transactions accurately. Provide on-the-spot insurance quotes and assist members in selecting coverage options. Sell and service life and personal lines insurance policies, including renewals and cancellations. Support DMV service operations and maintain compliance with all regulations. Ensure all documentation is accurate, organized, and confidential. What We’re Looking For Strong knowledge of credit union products and insurance services. Excellent communication, sales, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software systems. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 2 years of financial institution or customer service experience preferred. Prior insurance sales/service experience required. Active California Life and Personal Lines Insurance License (or ability to obtain). DMV certification and Notary Commission preferred. Schedule & Work Environment Full-time, 40 hours per week including Saturdays. Indoor, climate-controlled office setting with occasional travel between branches. Ready to make a difference?
