The Insurance Analyst must have experience with Medicare/Medicaid, accounts receivable, posting insurance payments, researching unpaid claims, and ICD-10 coding. A typical day as an insurance analyst: You will post and track payments according to contractual agreements. Any payment discrepancies are immediately pursued by phone, internet or paper inquiry. We solve puzzles each day to understand why claim did not pay according to our expectation. We research problems and offer feedback to our co-workers daily. This interactive position will offer the job seeker an opportunity to learn and appreciate all aspects of ophthalmology, how the eye works, why we do tests and why tracking eye disease and problems early can prevent blindness and assure a long life of quality vision.
