Position Summary Urology Specialists is seeking an experienced and motivated Insurance & Authorization Manager to lead our authorization team and drive efficient, patient-centered insurance processes across the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing daily authorization operations, managing team performance, and ensuring timely, accurate approvals to support patient care. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, deep knowledge of payer requirements, and a passion for improving workflows and team development. What You’ll Do Lead and develop the Authorization Team Lead and staff, including coaching, training, and performance management Oversee authorization workflows to ensure timely approvals and minimize delays in patient care Manage payer processes, including high-volume procedures, denials, and appeals Partner with clinical, operational, and leadership teams to align workflows and improve outcomes Monitor performance metrics, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with all regulations Requirements Qualifications 5+ years in a medical office or healthcare setting, with 3+ years in insurance authorization Leadership or management experience preferred Strong knowledge of payer requirements, insurance processes, and medical terminology Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Why Join Us?
