We are a small, growing company seeking a part-time Out-of-Network Insurance Billing Specialist with experience in mental health billing. This role involves managing out-of-network claims, ensuring accurate submissions, and optimizing reimbursement processes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess strong knowledge of insurance regulations, coding systems, and denial management strategies.

EXPERIENCE

• 3–5 years in medical billing, with strong out-of-network expertise
• Skilled in denials, appeals, and A/R follow-up
• Preferred mental health billing and knowledge of best practices

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in billing software and EHR systems
• Knowledge of payer requirements and insurance portals

KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

• Deep understanding of out-of-network reimbursement practices
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to negotiate effectively with payers
