The Role

Our client is seeking to recruit a Senior Broker / AE to take on a portfolio of SME Clients, this healthy portfolio is an existing book of highly valued clients, therefore you will need 5+ years of experience in a broking position. The portfolio consists of some larger key clients, but also some smaller players needing the same level of service.

Some other components of this role include: 

• Management of a portfolio through all stages of the Broking process, with support from the broking team of Account Executives and Assistant Account Executives.
• Confidently manage & respond to queries from clients and underwriters – via both phone & email. This may include complex problem-solving. 
• Develop strong and effective working relationships with external stakeholders, underwriters, to support business retention and growth in accordance with branch goals and objectives. 
• Highlight and escalate any significant issues of concern affecting service delivery.
• Identify new business opportunities
