REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2–3 years of UAE experience as an Insurance Coordinator in a medical clinic or hospital.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE medical insurance processes, DHA requirements, and claim submission systems.
  • Proficiency in medical coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; certification in medical coding/insurance is an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Handle insurance approvals, pre-authorizations, and claims submission
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to consultations and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate coding and billing as per DHA and insurance company requirements.
  • Liaise with doctors, patients, and insurance providers for smooth claim processing.
  • Follow up on pending claims, re-submissions, and reconciliation of rejections.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of insurance policies, guidelines, and DHA regulations.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on approvals, rejections, and collections.
  • Provide support to front office and finance teams regarding insurance-related queries.
