Insurance Coordinator / RCM (Immediate Joining)
Job Summary
The Insurance Coordinator will be responsible for managing all insurance-related services including insurance approvals, communication with insurance companies, claim submission, rejections, resubmissions, payment follow-ups, audits, and claim rejection ratio.
The role ensures smooth coordination between patients/clients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to support uninterrupted patient care and revenue flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and front-desk staff regarding insurance approvals
- Conduct monthly meetings regarding rejections and provide training to staff if required
- Prepare reconciliation reports
- Ensure accuracy of insurance documentation
- Handle insurance rejections, timely resubmissions, and appeals when necessary
- Follow up with insurance/TPA regarding payments
- Liaise with insurance providers, TPAs, and regulatory bodies (DHA, MOH as applicable), IT department, and Accounts team
- Support audits
- Monitor turnaround time (TAT) for claim approvals, processing, and payments
- Handle new insurance empanelment and tariff negotiations with TPAs and insurance companies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Medical Coding UAE)
- Proven experience as an Insurance Coordinator / RCM within a healthcare setup (clinics/hospital UAE)
