Description:
We have new openings for an Insurance Defence Legal Assistants. We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience in both Accident Benefits and Tort. Salary will be commensurate with your years of experience.
We are located in Etobicoke within walking distance to the Kipling GO and Subway Station.
THE INTERESTED CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have at least 1 year experience working in personal injury litigation - both Accident Benefits and Tort.
- Sound knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure, court practices and LAT
- Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision
- Adaptive and willing to learn
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Confident and dependable
- Strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Strong Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
