CCK is seeking a detail-orientated and proactive Insurance Litigation Paralegal to join our team in our office in Providence, RI. In this role, you will be responsible for handling insurance litigation claims and appeals. This position focuses primarily on representing individuals during their application, appeals, and litigation of life, health, short-term disability and long-term disability insurance benefits under private insurance contracts and employer group plans, regulated under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), as well as some Social Security Disability and personal injury matters. A successful candidate in this position will have great attention to detail, be outgoing and eager to learn, have the ability to multi-task, have strong written and verbal communication skills, work well independently and with a team, maintain deadlines, and take direction. Responsibilities: • Communicate regularly with clients, doctors’ offices, and insurance companies via phone and email. • Obtain all documentation necessary to support a client's claim for benefits • Conduct case research and assist attorneys with case development • Review, analyze, and assess client case files to determine next steps • Prepare benefit claim forms and draft appeals of denied benefits • Process incoming and outgoing mail • Perform administrative support for attorneys as needed • Drafting letters and other documents. • Proofread and review important procedural documents before they are mailed out Requirements • Bachelor’s degree is required, with a strong academic record • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and excellent written & verbal communication skills • Ability to work both independently and with a team • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated ability to quickly learn new sotfware Compensation & Benefits: • Starting annual salary is $42,500 • CCK offers options for medical, dental, and vision insurance (including employer-paid medical insurance for the employee!) and other wellness benefits • Gym membership reimbursement • 15 days of PTO (increasing over time) plus 12 paid company holidays in 2026 • 35 work-from-home days for the year • 401k matching • Paid Parental Leave Additional Details: • This role is required to report to our Providence, RI office daily. • Work Schedule: This is a full-time position.
