Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an Insurance Manager to join our team at our Head Office in Liverpool,UK. As the Insurance Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage the UK insurance portfolio,reporting directly to the Group Insurance Manager. You will support various initiatives, internal projects and business operations by ensuring that our insurance solutions and business activities are aligned. This role requires you to work closely with various stakeholders, managing and mitigating risks while supporting the group’s continuous growth. You will have a keen eye for detail allowing you to establish and communicate possible risks as well as present appropriate solutions.

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in an in-house insurance risk management function of a trading company, or a global insurance broker, or an insurer.
• Relevant experience in placing and managing UK/global insurance programmes.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant Finance or Insurance qualification (Cert CII, DipCII or equivalent, or working towards it).
• A bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject (insurance, economics, business or law).
