This is a remote position, but you must be in the NJ or PA region to attend meetings in our Hamilton, NJ office. Medlogix has a powerful mix of medical expertise, proven processes and innovative technology that delivers a more efficient, disciplined insurance claims process. The result is lower expenses and increased productivity for the auto insurance and workers’ compensation insurance carriers; third party administrators (TPAs); and government entities we serve. Location: Hamilton NJ Hybrid position. Once a month in Hamilton NJ office The Pre-Certification Coordinator receives requests for medical services from the treating healthcare provider’s office. The request is reviewed to ensure all necessary information is received; required data is entered into Medlogix® software for the Pre-Certification Nurse to review. The Pre-Cert Coordinator will also respond to telephone inquiries regarding automobile claims. Skills: * Detail oriented and strong organizational skills * Strong typing skills; 10-key entry a plus * Strong written and verbal communication skills including rules of composition and grammar * Strong interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently handling multiple tasks * Demonstrated work ethic and reliability * Microsoft Office / Windows Software Experience * 1 year of Data Entry experience * 1 year of Customer Service experience * 1 year of Medical administration experience Preferred, not Required Experience * Medical Claim Processing * Medical Billing * 10 Key Calculator * Spanish speaking a plus Education: * High school or equivalent Medlogix is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
