Your New Role Reporting to the Principal Insurance Pricing, the Insurance Pricing Analyst supports technical pricing analysis and stakeholder engagement. The role assists with insurance reporting, product reviews and data analysis to ensure competitive and compliant pricing. The role performs pricing reviews under the Premium Adjustment Model, manages repricing for corporate clients under AustralianSuper Select, and supports the implementation of new pricing. You will support partnership and business development teams by facilitating the corporate quoting process with TAL and preparing regular employer reports on membership, premiums and claims experience. Key responsibilities: Prepare competitor comparisons (pricing, terms and conditions) Analyse claims trends and prepare reporting Support premium changes by updating collaterals and calculators Calculate premium erosion levels Support the analysis of member needs report Conduct product reviews and analyse insurance data for enhancement and recommendation papers Prepare and review regulatory reporting Undertake actuarial and product research to support initiatives and projects What You’ll Need Strong attention to detail and analytical capability Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively under pressure Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships A bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or a related discipline Strong technical skills in Excel, VBA and SQL Experience in superannuation, insurance or financial services (desirable) Knowledge of insurance regulation and APRA requirements (desirable) Familiarity with group insurance market trends (desirable) Experience using Power BI (desirable) Life at AustralianSuper AustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
