Job Overview
As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for selling insurance policies to potential clients, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Duties
- Market and sell various insurance products to meet the needs of clients
- Analyze clients’ insurance needs and present suitable options
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain policy features, benefits, and premiums
- Negotiate terms and close sales deals
- Provide ongoing support to clients by answering inquiries and processing policy changes
- Utilize sales administration tools to manage client information and policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in insurance sales or related field preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Familiarity with retail sales practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid insurance agent license in accordance with state regulations
