Join a world-class insurance and private banking platform in DIFC, delivering bespoke wealth protection strategies to the region’s most influential families. Serve as the dedicated insurance specialist embedded within the Private Bank coverage model, partnering with Private Bankers, Investment Counsellors, and Wealth Planners to deliver sophisticated, compliant insurance-based wealth solutions for high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients and family offices. Combine deep technical product knowledge with discretion and relationship excellence to help clients achieve objectives‑ in liquidity planning, wealth preservation, estate equalization, legacy planning, business succession, and cross border‑ wealth structuring—all within DIFC and internal policy requirements. Position Responsibilities: 1) Private Bank Coverage & Collaboration Work hand-in-hand with Private Bankers to identify opportunities, co-create strategies, and deliver tailored insurance solutions that strengthen banker-client relationships and deepen wallet share. Participate in joint and individual client meetings, to prepare bespoke insurance analyses aligned to the client’s total insurance need and long‑term goals. Devise and implement effective strategies to drive sales through a customer-centric lens Enable banker success through advanced training on insurance planning, premium financing, and legacy structuring. Position yourself as the go-to expert for bankers seeking to differentiate their advisory offering. Train and develop front office teams on use‑ ‑cases (e.g., legacy equalization, keyperson/creditor protection, premium financing considerations) ‑, and pipeline management. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads in collaboration with Private Bankers, Investment Counsellors and Relationship Managers to ensure consistent origination, tracking and conversion of insurance cases. Collaborate with marketing and/or product teams to design and execute targeted campaigns and promotional materials for HNW/UHNW clients' segment. Provide insights and feedback to management on market trends, client demand, and distribution performance to support continuous improvement initiatives. 2) Client Advisory & Solution Design Conduct needs based‑ assessments for complex client profiles (entrepreneurs, multijurisdictional families, family offices), presenting potential solutions, ‑articulating benefits and trade‑offs across protection, accumulation, wealth preservation and liquidity solutions. Support bankers in client discovery and solution design, ensuring insurance strategies complement the banker’s overall wealth plan. Act as the technical anchor in banker-led conversations. Coordinate with trust/estate practitioners, legal and tax advisors (client appointed‑) to ensure solutions align with structures such as holding companies, trusts, and foundations. Prepare clear, compliant client materials: proposals, illustrations, and statement of‑ ‑suitability notes tailored to private banking standards. 3) Risk, Conduct & Regulatory Compliance Operate in strict adherence to DIFC/DFSA regulations, data protection requirements, and Manulife and Bank’s internal policies (including KYC, enhanced due diligence for source of‑ wealth/source‑ of‑ ‑funds, suitability and appropriateness, conflicts, and record‑keeping). Ensure CRS/FATCA requirements and cross border marketing guidance are adhered to, ‑ in collaboration with Compliance. Champion fair customer‑ outcomes and maintain complete and accurate documentation across CRM and policy administration systems, while enabling bankers to navigate compliance confidently. Remain up to date with any changes in regulatory requirements and internal guidelines and policies at all times, complete all mandatory learning. Appropriately assess risks when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for Manulife and Bank partner’s reputation and safeguarding the firms, their clients and assets. Apply sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. 4) Execution Excellence & After‑Sales Care Establish a collaborative culture between Manulife and Bank partners, to leverage capabilities and share expertise. Enable a feedback loop to drive enhancements in referral process and client experience and satisfaction. Plan and prioritise daily, weekly and monthly activities to maximise the business growth and client satisfaction. Track leads from the bank partner, contact prospects promptly, and schedule the relative meetings. Update stakeholders regularly using the internal CRM system. Ensure clients are presented with seamless execution of internal processes. Orchestrate end to‑ ‑end case execution: onboarding, underwriting, placement, delivery, and inforce‑ policy management (benefit changes, collateral/financing coordination where applicable, claims support). Monitor in‑force performance and policy suitability over time; proactively recommend reviews due to life events, liquidity events, or structural changes. Maintain an accurate pipeline and contribute to monthly/quarterly Private Bank business reviews. Join regular meetings with the bank partner to review ongoing cases, spot issues, and find solutions to prevent them from happening again. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Insurance; advanced designations (e.g., CII, LOMA) preferred. 3–5+ years of insurance or wealth advisory‑ experience, ideally within a Private Bank or family office context in the UAE/DIFC. Demonstrated capability advising HNW/UHNW clients on complex, multi‑jurisdictional needs and working alongside external advisors. Familiarity with DIFC regulatory framework and relevant workplace schemes and market practices (e.g., DEWS), with strong command of suitability and documentation standards. Skills & Competencies Private bank‑ relationship excellence: executive presence, discretion, and the ability to engage founders, principals, and next gen heirs. Cultural intelligence to engage bankers and their clients, along with negotiation and diplomacy for banker-client alignment. Technical depth: strong knowledge of life insurance products (protection and accumulation), ILAS structures within DIFC, and insurance ‑based wealth planning applications for private clients. Structuring mindset: comfort navigating trusts, holding companies, and cross‑border considerations with client advisors. Digital fluency: proficient with CRM, eonboarding/illustration tools, and paperless workflows; able to analyse and ‑interpret underwriting data and financial statements.
