We are seeking a talented individual to join our Climate & Sustainability (C&S) Strategy Team at Marsh, based in our London office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least 3 days a week in the office or with prospective clients and up to 2 days from home once initial onboarding/probationary period is passed. The role: Insurance Strategy Analyst We are seeking a highly motivated Insurance Strategy Analyst to join our Climate & Sustainability (C&S) Strategy team. You will be responsible for leading insurance innovation projects within our team, ensuring their successful implementation and delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive initiatives that help our clients navigate climate and sustainability challenges. This role requires a knowledge of commercial insurance, project management methodologies, and excellent communication skills. Daily duties could include project planning and execution, climate and sustainability strategy, stakeholder engagement and communication as well as monitoring and reporting This role could suit either an insurance Client Executive or Insurance Broker/Underwriter looking for a new opportunity within climate and sustainability. We will rely on you to: Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets for climate and sustainability initiatives within Marsh. Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and across MMC, working with different geographies and external partners to ensure project objectives are met. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. Take ownership and drive project outcomes, provide updates, and communicate project milestones to stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with the latest climate and sustainability issues, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement insurance and advisory related climate and sustainability strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices. Support Marsh and MMC ambitions in the climate risk space including by contributing to research and analytics. Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders. Engage stakeholders in climate and sustainability initiatives, seeking input and fostering collaboration. Communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other communication channels. Collect and analyse data related to initiative adoption, including climate resilience, and other performance metrics. What you need to have: Background / experience in the commercial insurance industry Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
