When you join us as an Insurance Verification Representative you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes. You Will: Obtain information on the patient’s eligibility status with insurance companies to ensure proper coverage and payment for services Work closely with insurance providers and referring physicians’ staff to obtain necessary patient history and notes in order to expedite processing. Properly analyze various payor eligibility responses to find the information needed to complete verifications Obtain and confirm insurance pre-authorizations & contact insurance providers via email or phone to review status of authorizations Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the RIS system for each patient, according to established standards You Are: Genuinely passionate about customer service and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations Able to demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, vendors & referring physicians Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a knack for prioritizing work with a structured approach, and enjoy providing world-class customer service To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have: High School Diploma or GED Intermediate to advanced computer skills Strong multitasking and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
