Arlington County’s Department of Human Services (DHS) [https://www.arlingtonva.us/Government/Departments/DHS/Behavioral-Healthcare/Mobile-Outreach-Support-Team-MOST], Behavioral Healthcare Division (BHD), seeks an Intake and Discharge Planning Assistant Supervisor for the Client Services Entry Bureau to support clinical and administrative management of intake and discharge programs. This team of eight (8) mental health professionals serves two functions: to act as the central point of service entry to adults seeking mental health and substance abuse services using the Same Day Access (SDA) model, and to provide discharge planning services for individuals hospitalized at the Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute (NVMHI). Responsibilities

Support the clinical and administrative management of intake and discharge programs for adults seeking mental health and substance abuse services. Act as a central point of service entry using the Same Day Access model and provide discharge planning for hospitalized individuals.
