Intake / Cleaning & Inspection Technician Pay: $20.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time About Us: California PPE Recon, Inc. is a verified Independent Service Provider (ISP) specializing in compliant cleaning, inspection, and repair services for firefighter protective gear. Join our team and help keep first responders safe by ensuring their gear meets the highest standards. Job Description: We are looking for a reliable team member to assist with the intake, cleaning, and inspection of firefighter protective equipment. Training is provided—just bring your attention to detail and willingness to follow established procedures. Responsibilities: Perform commercial laundry cleaning and drying of protective gear Follow NFPA 1851-compliant cleaning and inspection processes Lift and move items weighing 30 lbs or more Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with general shop cleanup and workstation organization Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods Must be dependable and punctual Comfortable with physical work and lifting heavy items Willingness to learn and follow safety standards Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Occasional overtime may be required Compensation & Benefits: $19.00 per hour Health benefits available.
