Description Job Title: Intake Coordinator Location: This is an onsite position in Cumming, GA and possibly 1 day/week in Alpharetta, GA Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/hour Employment Type: W2, Full-Time, Non-Exempt Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p or 9a-6p We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Intake Coordinator to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in the operation of our practice, with a focus on administrative tasks. Experience with Advanced MD or similar EHR is required. Experience with SalesForce a plus. Job Summary: As an Intake Coordinator, you will be a crucial part of the business’s administrative and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks, from clerical duties to providing support to various departments. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere will contribute to the organization's success. Responsibilities: Screen incoming calls and emails, providing information and scheduling appointments for new clients. Support with Insurance authorizations and verification of benefits. Manage appointment calendars and ensure efficient scheduling of client sessions. Coordinate with therapists and clients to confirm appointments and manage cancellations or rescheduling requests. Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations. Manage medical records including scanning/archiving charts. Generate new referral partnerships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and businesses to expand our network and increase client referrals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and professionals from diverse backgrounds. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite.
