Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum $23.00 - $26.44 - $31.28 Baystate Health, Western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for a Full-time Intake Coordinator to join our experienced Adult Behavioral Health team in Springfield, MA. RESPONSIBILITIES: Baystate Health’s Intake Coordinator’s play a key role in helping patients access the care they need. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients and providers, ensuring a smooth, respectful, and efficient intake and referral process. · Receive and process referrals from physicians, agencies, and patients. · Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and schedule outpatient appointments. · Coordinate care between patients, providers, and community partners. · Communicate promptly and professionally with referral sources and patients. · Troubleshoot and resolve referral or scheduling issues with sound judgment. · Maintain accurate records and track appointment availability. · Promote positive relationships with providers and referral sources. SCHEDULE: Full-time, 40 hours a week Monday through Friday, either 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm No weekends, No holidays LOCATION: 3300 Main St. Springfield, MA QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED, required 3-5 years of experience in a physician office or healthcare setting, preferred Great interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment a MUST Medical terminology, keyboard, Microsoft office products, schedule systems, medical records (electronic and paper), billing, basic math, language, reading and writing, customer service THE ADVANTAGES OF WORKING WITH BAYSTATE!
