Intake Coordinator Responsibilities · Collect and verify patient information, ensuring accuracy and completeness during the intake process. · Coordinate appointments and communicate effectively with patients to provide necessary information. · Accurately enter patient information into electronic health records and other relevant systems. · Maintain organized and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. · Serve as a point of contact for patient inquiries, providing information and assistance with empathy and professionalism. · Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth transitions between intake and care. · Conduct regular audits of intake data to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational standards. · Identify areas for improvement and contribute to the development of streamlined intake processes. · Collaborate with the Intake Supervisor and other team members to enhance communication and workflow. · Participate in training sessions and contribute to a positive team culture. Requirements Intake Coordinator Requirements · High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in healthcare administration is a plus. · Bilingual – Spanish/English Required · Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient intake or a related role. · Strong organizational and multitasking skills with acute attention to detail. · Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. · Familiarity with healthcare information systems and electronic health records.
