OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Infusion Intake Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Intake Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing patient intake processes, ensuring accurate information collection, and facilitating smooth communication between patients and healthcare providers. This position requires strong administrative skills, proficiency in medical terminology and coding, and familiarity with health information management systems. Knowledge of all medical plan offerings by payer and plan type, is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a home infusion pharmacy environment, preferably within a clinic or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance verification processes (benefits and eligibility) and pre authorization requirements for the Home Infusion Pharmacy providers.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as WellSky or CareTend is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care and support to patients.
